Consultation - Free 15-minute consultation or to inquire about an appointment.
Counseling - My fee is currently $150/session for individual counseling. Telehealth or in-person appointments are available.
Coaching - IFS can help you achieve your goals. Fee is $150 for 45 minutes. Inquire for pricing of coaching packages.
I am a fee for service practice and do not accept insurance at this time.
Why don’t you take insurance? While insurance is preferred by many people, it places hidden limitations on therapy and can negatively impact our work together. Here are two of the biggest reasons I don’t take insurance:
Insurance companies require a diagnosis, which in turn requires me to diagnose you with a mental health disorder, even if you don’t have one. This can be stigmatizing and pathologizing. More importantly, this diagnosis becomes part of your permanent medical record which may negatively impact you in the future.
Insurance companies have access to your confidential treatment information, and as a result get to dictate what forms of treatment you can receive and for how long. If they don’t like your treatment plan for any reason, they can limit the course of therapy or deny your claim altogether, disrupting our work together.
In short, by not taking insurance, I am able to provide better treatment and a higher quality of care for clients like you!
